Traditional miners in northern and eastern Sudan pointed out to a complete halt to exploration movement due to a lack of diesel because of the emergency provisions.

RIYADH: Nearly 2.82 million violators of residency, work and border security systems have been arrested in a year-long roundup, according to an official report.
Since the campaign began in November 2017, there have been 2,827,564 offenders, including 2,204,460 for violating residency regulations, 432,461 for labor violations and 190,643 for border violations, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

South Sudan said it aims to increase oil output from the current 145,000 barrels a day (bpd) to about 200,000 by 2020.
Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, minister of petroleum, said in a statement issued in Juba on Thursday that increase in oil production will enable them to put more crude on the market as they seek more buyers.
“Operating companies nationwide are engaged in preparing for oil production resumption, likely increasing production by the end of 2019 to 200,000 bpd,” said Gatkouth.

Khartoum- The Federal Ministry of Health has disclosed that the maternal death rate dropped to 114 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births in 2018, compared to 209 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births in 2010.
