Sudan Celebrates World Immunization Day

Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) at the Federal Ministry of Health declared yesterday the inauguration of the World Immunization Week from 24-30 April in the Friendship Hall.
Director of EPI Dr. Amani Abdul Muneim said the inauguration is expected to be addressed by the President of the Republic.
Amani stated the Immunization Week is targeting six diseases such as diphtheria, hepatitis A and B, measles, mumps, pneumococcal disease, polio, rotavirus, diarrhea, tetanus and yellow fever.
